Volunteer Opportunities

  

Sangha Sewing

The Sangha Sewing volunteer will provide simple sewing services like cushion covering and hand or machine mending. All of these small projects can be done in the comfort of your home, but a sewing machine and supplies are available here, if needed.

Linen Laundry - Filled!

Twice yearly, the Linen Laundry volunteer will wash our meditation blankets, comforters, etc. This will involve using a laundromat with large machines.

Fermention Fairy

The Fermentation Fairy will make sauerkraut, apple chutney, natto, and optionally, sourdough bread. Recipes and supplies will be provided.

Window Washing

Twice yearly the Window Washing volunteer will clean our interior windows. Supplies and tools will be provided.

Weed Wizard

Once or twice per month from May to September, the Weed Wizard will hand cut weeds on our grounds, mainly thistle and dandelion. Tools provided. Work load should reduce over time.

Bike Boss

​Yearly maintenance of the monastery's fleet of bikes.
